It is the point where talent and passion meet that you will find Anna Weatherup. A remarkable singer and songwriter, Anna is committed to the journey of succeeding at her craft.
Her career so far is a story of dedication and drive. A Townsville girl at the age of 13, Anna taught herself the guitar and has played live gigs for over 7 years. The childhood dream she still carries with her is to play to her own sold out concert; this is the goal she works towards everyday.
Her music is an acoustic blend of folk and country, but Anna never misses an opportunity to rock out a little too. Her positive personality gives her a captivating aura when performing and she takes to the stage like a person born to be there.
Her career highlights so far include supporting music legends Colin Hay & James Reyne on their respective tours. She also performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and spent time in London recently playing a series of very well received gigs. Her bright future will see Anna’s performance skills continue to grow with plans to travel through America and hit the Australian festival circuit.
Two years after the success of her debut E.P, Truth, Anna has released an album which turns her life lessons into honest and beautiful music. To her, music is about connection and she tells her journey simply through the ethereal grace of her voice.
After The Storm is an album full of moments you can relate to. From the infectious and happy “Answered Prayer” to “Miracle” a song you can’t help but pause and reflect upon, this album is an honest and gracious step for the young singer.

Many of The Mean Fiddler’s operations allow you to interact with us anonymously, such as our bar, dining, entertainment, conference and gaming facilities. In the conduct of these operations we do not generally require you to provide your personal information in order to receive or participate in these services.
Your personal information is only collected with your consent.
The type of personal information that we collect from you will depend upon what dealings you have with us. The Mean Fiddler generally obtains your personal information, such as your name, address and contact details, where required to provide hotel, entertainment, Membership and Ticketing services. In addition, we will collect this information as part of our policy to protect our customers, staff and venue. This will be collected via our patron ID scanning system located at the front door to the venue and operated by trained venue staff and or our authorised agents.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal information is only used within the Drinx Group in the provision of services for which it was obtained and may be used to provide customers, through direct marketing, with knowledge of other services and promotions conducted by the Group. Your personal information is not sold or passed to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Security of Personal Information
We will make all reasonable endeavours to protect your personal information securely against unauthorised use and access. Your personal information will be recorded, amended and used only by authorised persons who are required to keep your information confidential.
Sharing Information with Other Organisations
In some circumstances, we may disclose your information to our contractors and service providers, but only to the extent necessary to operate our business or provide you with the products and/or services you have requested. We require these organisations to undertake to meet the requirements of the Privacy legislation and agree to strict conditions governing how your personal information may be used.
While we will not use your information for any purpose without your consent, we reserve the right to use information in circumstances relating to the public interest. These circumstances may be related to:

Video Surveillance
We are committed to providing a secure environment for all visitors to our properties. Our premises and their surroundings are under constant surveillance.
Surveillance video is only retained for a specified period of time except where its retention for a longer period is required to assist the investigation of unlawful, suspicious activities or defence of claims against the Group.
Details of suspected illegal and undesirable activities are shared with other members of the Australian Hotels Association, law enforcement bodies and regulatory bodies such as Office of Liquor & Gaming.

When you visit our web site, we may use an Internet browser feature called a “cookie”.
