It is the point where talent and passion meet that you will find Anna Weatherup. A remarkable singer and songwriter, Anna is committed to the journey of succeeding at her craft.
Her career so far is a story of dedication and drive. A Townsville girl at the age of 13, Anna taught herself the guitar and has played live gigs for over 7 years. The childhood dream she still carries with her is to play to her own sold out concert; this is the goal she works towards everyday.
Her music is an acoustic blend of folk and country, but Anna never misses an opportunity to rock out a little too. Her positive personality gives her a captivating aura when performing and she takes to the stage like a person born to be there.
Her career highlights so far include supporting music legends Colin Hay & James Reyne on their respective tours. She also performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and spent time in London recently playing a series of very well received gigs. Her bright future will see Anna’s performance skills continue to grow with plans to travel through America and hit the Australian festival circuit.
Two years after the success of her debut E.P, Truth, Anna has released an album which turns her life lessons into honest and beautiful music. To her, music is about connection and she tells her journey simply through the ethereal grace of her voice.
After The Storm is an album full of moments you can relate to. From the infectious and happy “Answered Prayer” to “Miracle” a song you can’t help but pause and reflect upon, this album is an honest and gracious step for the young singer.

The Games Room
Perched above the Irish Bar, The Games Room - with it’s distinctive ceiling display of games - is a popular area that can be reserved for your next function.
The Ladies Lounge
Sit beneath the a Parisian 1880s chandelier in lush armchairs in a parlour setting and enjoy the amazing antique fixture and truly unique surrounds.
The Gentleman’s Club
This cosy room has its own working wood fireplace and private booths. Sip a pint of Guinness while catching up with mates or savour an Irish coffee.
The Irish Verandah
At the Windsor Road end of The Verandah you'll find dedicated Play Stations for children and teens to be entertained.
As well as a full variety of games and activities perfectly suited for the kids, there's always loads of regular special events on offer.
Every Wednesday night from 5pm – 8pm the resident fairy, Lavender Lily arrives with face painting and stories. On Fantastic Fridays from 11am there are farm animals for the kids with Lavender Lily entertaining the dinner crowd from 5pm. They won't want to leave!
For something different and exciting, the Mean Fiddler is the ideal venue to hold your next children’s birthday party. Party packages include a fully trained and entertaining party host, birthday cake and a children’s combo meal deal. The kids will love it, and leave the fuss up to us!
The Dungeon
What better place to celebrate that mile-stone birthday than in our Dungeon area? Complete with its own lockup, this is a room with loads of atmosphere for your event.
Various Booths and Rooms
All the rooms within the original Cobb & Co. refreshment station house can be themed to your special occasion. Each room has a special theme and array of antiques on display and can be booked for a private dinner for two - or ten.
