It is the point where talent and passion meet that you will find Anna Weatherup. A remarkable singer and songwriter, Anna is committed to the journey of succeeding at her craft.
Her career so far is a story of dedication and drive. A Townsville girl at the age of 13, Anna taught herself the guitar and has played live gigs for over 7 years. The childhood dream she still carries with her is to play to her own sold out concert; this is the goal she works towards everyday.
Her music is an acoustic blend of folk and country, but Anna never misses an opportunity to rock out a little too. Her positive personality gives her a captivating aura when performing and she takes to the stage like a person born to be there.
Her career highlights so far include supporting music legends Colin Hay & James Reyne on their respective tours. She also performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and spent time in London recently playing a series of very well received gigs. Her bright future will see Anna’s performance skills continue to grow with plans to travel through America and hit the Australian festival circuit.
Two years after the success of her debut E.P, Truth, Anna has released an album which turns her life lessons into honest and beautiful music. To her, music is about connection and she tells her journey simply through the ethereal grace of her voice.
After The Storm is an album full of moments you can relate to. From the infectious and happy “Answered Prayer” to “Miracle” a song you can’t help but pause and reflect upon, this album is an honest and gracious step for the young singer.
If you’re interested in experiencing the joy that is Anna’s music, you can find her on myspace, www.myspace.com/annaweatherup and iTunes. She also performs regularly, so check out her website www.annaweatherup.com for more information.

The Mean Fiddler is located in the heart of Australia’s most exciting and metropolitan city, Sydney. As well as the nearby city attractions, The Mean Fiddler Irish Pub is close to the Hawkesbury River and surrounding National Parks and wilderness areas, including the world-heritage listed Blue Mountains.
Hawkesbury is a place of notable historical significance. Not only is it a crossroads and place of foundation for the Aboriginal people of the area, but also a representation of foundation for non-Aboriginal settlement of Australia. It is in Windsor, during the colonial period, that Governor Phillip laid the plans for his five Macquarie towns, for the growth of the colony. Four of the five Macquarie towns remain today, Windsor, Richmond, Wilberforce and Pitt Town.
Important buildings in the area were designed by Francis Greenway, who was the government architect at the time, and was responsible for designing the original Royal Oak Inn from which the Mean Fiddler was born. Another worthy visitor’s attraction includes the Governor Macquarie statue in McQuade Park, Windsor.
Hawkesbury Harvest is the 'local' ingredient of Sydney's dynamic food and wine culture. Today, this community-based organisation, continues to highlight the range of unique experiences that can be found in the Hawkesbury region and offers a number of products, which include:
